A quaint, small hamlet city, reminiscent of a time in the past. Founded in 1854, the city is one of the oldest in Minnesota and named after Peter and Riley Mantor, brothers who came to the settlement in 1853. Its population of a couple thousand enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and simplicity. In the summer guests can enjoy a stop at the Chocolate Shoppe, play at Riverside Park, or sit on the river bank and watch the lazy water flow over the dam. Featuring many antique and gifts shops as well as melodramas at the Opera House.
